artemia cysts storage:
Keep out of direct sunlight. For short term storage, store in a cool dry place not more than 30ºC. If the artemia cysts or brine shrimp eggs are not used immediately keep the container tightly sealed to prevent the contents from moisture. Once the container has been opened, use within a few days time.
For long term storage:
Keep frozen at (0ºC) -17ºC or below. For best results, store under refrigerated conditions between 0 °C and +5°C for up to 24 months.
If you take the artemia cysts from storage, please keep 12 hours outside, then to hatch.

Decapsulated Artemia (Shell Free Artemia)
Decapsulated Artemia (Shell Free Artemia)are made from Bohai Bay artemia cysts or artemia that have not broken diapause and will never hatch. The decapsulation procedure consists of chemically removing or oxidizing the outer chorion with a hypochloride solution. All that remains following decapsulation is the bright orange embryo surrounded by a thin hatching membrane. The decapsulated artemia cysts or artemia are neutralized and are completely digestible buy the fish or shrimp larval.
Storage and Packaging: Processing of the decapsulated artemia cysts or artemia requires dehydrated down to a moisture level of 10%. Decapsulated artemia cysts or artemia are packed in either 500 gram vaccum cans or pouches. Also available in 10kg pails. Minimum two-year storage life.
